Break in Metro service to/from Helsinki city center in July

The Metro will not run between Kulosaari and Ruoholahti from 14 July through 22 July due to construction work on Kalasatama center. The connections between eastern Helsinki and the city center will be replaced with additional bus routes. During this time, there will be Metro service only between Mellunmäki and Kulosaari, and Vuosaari and Itäkeskus. The Metro will run at 8-minute intervals. 

The additional buses, 99 from Itäkeskus and 99B from Herttoniemi, will run to the city center every 8 minutes.  In addition, feeder buses from Herttoniemi will run to and from Hakaniemi under route numbers 80X, 81X, 82X, 85X, 86X and 88X.
