Single ticket by mobile phone
To order a ticket, send an SMS “A 1” (ticket in Finnish) to 16355. You can type the order code with or without a space. You will get the ticket in the form of a reply message to your phone. The message shows the validity time and zone of the ticket, an identification number and the sender number The ticket that is valid for one hour from the moment of purchase.
The service is available with connections of Sonera, Elisa, DNA, Saunalahti, Kolumbus, Zeroforty and Tele Finland. The price of the ticket is charged to your phone bill. The service is available also with prepaid subscriptions of DNA, Kolumbus, Saunalahti, Sonera and TeleFinland.

The mobile ticket is valid on
- trams
- the metro
- the Suomenlinna ferry
- eastern metro feeder buses: 80, 81, 81B, 82B, 83, 84, 85, 85B, 86, 86B, 88, 89, 90, 90B, 92, 93A, 93AK, 93AV, 94, 94A, 94B, 94V, 95, 96, 97, 97V, 98 and 98A. Please note - the mobile ticket is not valid on N night service nor or buses 78 and 79
- bus routes 15, 15A and 15V serving the Länsisatama (West Harbour)
- VR commuter trains within Helsinki
- bus route 16X in Kulosaari
You can purchase a mobile ticket also during the night fare hours (2am - 4.30am) and use it for traveling on night commuter train services.
The mobile ticket must be on your mobile phone before you enter a vehicle or the metro platform area. Remember to check that you have received the ticket before boarding a train, tram, bus or ferry, or entering the metro platform area.
Please note that you enter the metro platform area when you get on the escalator after having passed the Travel Card readers. The beginning of the platform area is marked with a yellow line. If you order or receive the mobile ticket when you are already on a vehicle or in the metro platform area, you may be issued with a penalty fare.
