Visually impaired passengers

Visually impaired passengers accompanied by a guide dog or using a white stick do not have to show the Travel Card to the card reader. If the passenger has a companion, he or she should show the card to the reader. A visually impaired passenger and one companion are entitled to free travel on public transport in the Helsinki metropolitan area if the passenger has the required pass.
