Culture on tram route 7B

The Culture Tram provides passengers with an opportunity to enjoy culture while traveling on tram route 7B. You can board the tram at a normal fare and enjoy, for example, performing arts, from Wednesday to Friday. There are also art exhibitions and video installations produced by the Distribution Centre for Finnish Media Art. The exhibitions change every month. There are also photo exhibitions held in cooperation with Photo Raw magazine.

Every month, the Culture Tram program will also feature tidbits of one city festival taking place in Helsinki.  In 2012, the festivals featured in the program include, among others, Docpoint in January as well as Flow, Pixeliähky, Circo, Stage and Helsinki Design Week.

Life performances take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday between 5.14pm and 6.070pm, starting from the Töölön halli tram stop.The stop is located on Mannerheimintie (Mannerheimintie 76), and from this stop, the tram goes to the city center.

The Culture Tram operates just like a regular tram and you can travel on the tram with a Travel Card, tram ticket or single ticket.
