Additional service on 9 September due to the Finnish Fireworks Championships

HSL provides additional service on Thursday 9 September due to the Finnish Fireworks Championships held in Rajasaari.

Tram services will be supplemented by buses 3X and 8X. Bus 3X will run from Munkkiniemi via Opera, Kamppi and Central Railway Station to the Market Square, and bus 8X will run form Salmisaari via Töölö, Kallio and Sörnäinen to Vallila. The buses will operate at 12-minute intervals from 10.45pm to 11.45pm

On Thursday evening the Metro will operate one hour longer than usually. The Metro will run at normal intervals. The last departure from Ruolahti to Vuosaari will leave at 12.21am and from Ruoholahti to Mellunmäki at 12.26am.

Helsinki internal bus 24, Erottaja – Seurasaari, will also operate one hour longer than usually, i.e. its last departure from Seurasaari will be around midnight. Northbound buses running along Mannerheimintie (both Helsinki internal and regional buses) will operate with extra capacity.

Helsinki internal bus services will operate a normal Thursday service. Early morning buses will not operate. Regional night buses will not operate but Friday departures of regular regional bus services will operate.
Commuter trains will operate a Friday timetable.

A large audience is expected for the event and thus, there may be traffic delays and disruptions in Mechelininkatu and Paciuksenkatu. We recommend you to leave your car at home and use public transport to get to the event venue.
